Mushroom Foray at Nockamixon State Park

Meet at Weisel Farm House – High Bridge Trailhead at 1pm. After a brief introduction we will break apart to look for mushrooms. If it is your first time and/or you feel like you need guidance you will be able to follow more experienced members. At 3pm we will all meet back at the starting point to identify and talk about what we found. Please note, cell phone service may be limited in this part of the park.

Children are welcome to attend. Dogs are also welcome, but we ask you to keep them on leash at all times except in the specific parts of the park where they are allowed off leash.

Please dress appropriately for outdoor activities. Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks.
