Mural Arts Philadelphia’s 40th Anniversary Press Kick-Off

Welcoming its 40th Anniversary, Mural Arts Philadelphia (“Mural Arts”) will formally announce its 40th Anniversary and kick off a year full of special programming focused on its theme, “Roots & Reimagination,” beginning with a partnership with REC Philly, a music and art incubator that provides tools and resources for the local creative community to build sustainable careers. Mural Arts will debut its branded programmable space at REC Philly with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a condensed guided Fashion District walking tour to kick off the Mural Arts spring tour season. Events and conversations at REC Philly in partnership with Mural Arts will continue throughout 2024. Throughout Mural Arts’ 40th Anniversary, Mural Arts will unveil key mural projects and host special events and mural paint days to showcase the past, present, and future of Mural Arts.
