Martin Luther King Day of Service Germantown

Join us to participate in our Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service clean up in Germantown on Sunday, January 15th from 10 AM – 1 PM (rain date: January 21st). Meet at the corner of 5700 Greene St, Philadelphia, PA 19144. Some cleaning supplies will be available but we ask that you bring your own broom, pale and gloves if you can. Please wear a mask and practice physical distancing during the event to stop the spread of COVID-19, as the pandemic is still ongoing.

Organized by Germantown United CDC in partnership with I Love Thy Hood and Weavers Way Coop with support from the City of Philadelphia’s PHL Taking Care of Business program.

While Monday’s cleanup will focus on the Central Germantown commercial corridor, know that there are other areas in need of service across Germantown.
