Mare of Wissahickon! with Jon McCabe and Lisa Kleiman
Meet at Mt. Airy Trailhead
Did you love Mare of Easttown? Do you enjoy visiting filming locations? This walk will offer a fantastic opportunity to visit three exciting Wissahickon filming locations from the hit series, while we discuss several other nearby locations and some legendary park film and visual art history. Take some keepsake selfies while you learn about the unique and wonderful treasure that is the Wissahickon, and be ready to answer some fun trivia questions. We hope you will join us for a fun and educational afternoon.
This hike is for ages 12+
Distance: 3 miles
Level: Moderate (some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces)
Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.
Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks.
