Live at Roots Garden Performance Series

June 1 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Live at Roots Garden, a performance series produced by Olney Culture Lab, is happy to present Joseph Harrison in a lecture/demonstration/performance in a lush green community vegetable in Fisher Park. The park is located at North 5th and W. Spencer Streets in the Olney section of Philadelphia, 19120. Mr. Harrison is a percussionist, children’s book author and urban agricultural expert and advocate.

The event will also feature catering by local chefs who will offer light snacks and refreshments. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets. There will be some folding seats available. Parking is on the street at West Spencer. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at a location to-be determined.

This series is produced in partnership with the Fisher Park Community Alliance and the Roots Community Garden. It is supported from generous grants from William Penn Foundation, Forman Arts Initiative, and Philadelphia Foundation.
