Gripping Drama Next at The Stagecrafters
“Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train” by Stephen Adly Guirgis, set in the Tombs and Rikers Island in New York, tells the story of two inmates, Angel and Lucius, awaiting murder charges.
The play premiered Off-Broadway in 2000 directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman and was nominated for an Olivier Award in the UK for Best New Play of 2003.
The show is a gripping dramatic experience that challenges conventional ideas about the law, justice, and redemption.
