See our award-winning Jenkintown Creek Restoration Project sites first-hand…ask about challenges like funding…learn about solutions!
Please join us to visit sites where we have restored streambanks and enhanced wetlands, planted hundreds of native trees, and installed rain gardens, all to improve creek health and communities.
We will be drive from site to site, and tour each site on foot. Carpooling is encouraged.
During each visit, we will talk about what we’ve seen, answer questions, and discuss challenges, successes, and future plans.
Sites: Alverthorpe Park, Manor College, Sisters of Saint Basil, Conklin Pool.
The tour will finish with lunch plus discussion and networking.
