Intro to Podcasting

In this two hour work shop we will work through the basics of how to record your own podcast, audio book, or general recording set up
Curious about starting a podcast but not sure how to use the gear? This hands-on class is designed for beginners who want to get comfortable with recording equipment and learn the technical side of podcast production.
You’ll get guided instruction on:
- Setting up and using microphones, mixers, and headphones
- Recording high-quality audio using available software and hardware
- File formats, storage, and exporting your audio for publishing
This class is perfect for aspiring podcasters, content creators, or anyone interested in learning the essentials of audio recording. No experience necessary—just come ready to learn and experiment!
All equipment will be provided.

- Everyone is welcome at this workshop! You do not have to have a MakerSpace membership or any affiliation with Utility Works. These tickets are $20
