Haverford Lenape Nation of PA Treaty Signing

Building on years of collaboration with faculty members, the library, and the CPGC, Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania invited the College to host an event as part of the nonprofit organization’s 2022 Rising Nation River Journey, at Founders Hall.
The event is open to the public and offers an opportunity to learn more about The Treaty of Renewed Friendship.
The gathering brings together organizations and individuals committed to supporting Indigenous peoples and good stewardship of the environment. It is one step the College is undertaking to live into the aspirations expressed in our land acknowledgment.

Following the Ceremony, we invite you to join us for a light lunch and screening of River of Human Beings, a documentary about the 2018 Rising Nation River Journey in VCAM.
