Halloween Hike to the Lost Cave of the Wissahickon with Kris Soffa and Patty Davis

Join the Wild Women of the Wissahickon on this Twilight adventure to “The Lost Cave” of America’s first doomsday cult, in the Hermit’s Glen. As Halloween approaches, the veil thins, and spirits cut loose and roam through the woods. Is it the End of The World? Will the Wizard Kelpius return to his cave to fulfill his prophecy?
Costumes, which will serve as disguises to confuse the nefarious ghouls, are highly suggested. Come prepared to walk over uneven terrain in the failing light of the gloaming. Bring a camera to see if you can catch the likenesses of any apparitions on film!
This hike is appropriate for ages 18 and up.

Level: Difficult (many inclines and declines, uneven surfaces)
Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.
Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks.
