Getting to Green: An Afternoon of Artmaking at Pleasant Hill Park

Join Getting to Green for a family-friendly bus ride and activities in Pleasant Hill Park. Please be prepared to walk.

Saturday May 17th join Getting to Green for a family-friendly bus ride and activities in Pleasant Hill Park. We are partnering with the Mural Arts’ Tacony LAB Community Art Center.

We’ll meet at the Tacony LAB  at 11am to prepare for an afternoon of artmaking and learning about the plants, animals and life of  Delaware River.  Check out the fish hatchery, playground and trails along the river! Together, we’ll ride the Route 84 bus to the park. Lunch is included. 

There will be a short walk to the park from the bus, come prepared to walk and be  outdoors, explore a new part of the city and make art with us. Bus passes included. Space is limited. We will return by 3pm to the Tacony LAB. 

Getting to Green is a public art project which encourages residents to use public transit to explore green spaces throughout Philadelphia. For more info visit:
