Germantown Residents for Economic Alternatives Together presents a series of films highlighting the movement for housing justice.
- The films our Housing Committee Planning Team selected for the three screenings help answer the following questions:
What has urban renewal and revitalization looked like in Philadelphia’s history?
How did things get this way?
How have people organized themselves for housing justice?
What can we learn from history about Philadelphia’s housing and development?
Please join us If you are interested in learning more about this history; seeing first hand accounts from throughout the city; discussing strategies to combat predatory development, and meeting your neighbors.
You will also be able to get information about GREAT’s housing justice work, housing assistance programs and resources, a copy of GREAT’s Housing Justice Values book, and a Beloved Community t-shirt.
