As the days grow shorter and the autumn settles over the city, Philadelphia transforms, bringing in the exciting spirit of the fall festivities season. Amid this seasonal shift, families in Philadelphia are eagerly looking for fun and safe activities for the entire family to enjoy. Germantown organizations are joining forces this October to provide a safe space for children, their families, and the community to come together and enjoy various Halloween festivities. The Germantown Arts District, in partnership with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Germantown, will be hosting the GAD October Fourth Friday Autumn Nights on October 27, 2023, from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM on the 5400 Block of Germantown Avenue (From 5421 Germantown Ave to 5427 Germantown Ave).
In the heart of the season, there is magic in creating a community-driven, family-friendly, Halloween-themed event like the GAD October Fourth Friday Autumn Night. Beyond the candy and costumes, the event will provide a safe space where neighbors, friends, and families can converge and enjoy the night. The event will also feature local vendors and artists who will be able to sell and showcase their work to the public. The GAD October Fourth Friday Autumn Night event will be frighteningly good, from trick or treating to costume contests, tasty food, and family activities.
