FROND-RAISER: Staghorn Fern Workshop benefitting UC Green

Join us for a creative interactive outdoor workshop for a great cause! All proceeds from this ‘frond-raiser’ will directly benefit UC Green and its mission of equitable greening in West Philadelphia.
UC Green leader Dominique London will lead the workshop, sharing her expertise on these beautiful ferns, named for the antler-like appearance of their fronds.
You’ll learn how to properly mount your new fern from Primex onto a reclaimed wood backer, which has been lovingly created by local expert Treeken. You’ll also learn proper staghorn fern care tips, to set you up for success in helping your new houseplant thrive.
Workshop fee includes instruction and all materials, so you’ll leave with a unique living work of art, ready to be showcased in your home or office. They also make thoughtful gifts!
