FRESH: A Get Fresh Daily Farm To Table Experience and Fundraiser

Join us for Get Fresh Daily’s Fresh Take on a fall equinox celebration of food, community and Black culture.
This is our first ever Fundraiser to secure funding for free and reduced cost weekly, organic produce boxes and recipes for 45 West Philly families.
This signature fall event at The Historic Belmont Mansion is Get Fresh Daily’s (GFD) fresh take on a 4-course farm to table dinner- GFD DOES IT DIFFERENT! This meal will feature locally sourced ingredients you can find in GFD”s organic produce boxes elevated Ital style by infamous plant-based Jamaican Chef Troy Levy of A Taste of Ital in NYC. Chef Troy will be coming in from NYC to prepare all of the recipes with his magical, healthy, gorgeous and delicious fresh take on a gourmet meal.
This sunset, family-style dinner is the centerpiece of the event where the GFD community of participants and friends will gather around the table to bless and honor the earth, the ancestors and each other while celebrating and giving thanks for the harvest. We’ll also honor the rich history of Belmont Mansion as Philadelphia’s first stop on the Underground Railroad.
The event will start with a cocktail hour and wellness experience curated by our team and end with a dance party featuring our favorite Philly DJ and GFD supporter Oluwafemi!
The evening will include additional entertainment from local artists including live music with Faith the Violinist, comedy with Keith from Up Da Block, and Afrvbz with Rasaq Lawal.
