Marissa Jacobs, Educator and Founder of The Art of Ecology
Engage in the ancient practice of flower and plant preservation during this hands-on workshop. Discover the history, purpose, and art of plant pressing, then create your own press using watercolor, illustration, and pyrography techniques on wooden boards. Participants will take home their finished press, the leaves and flowers pressed during class, and inspiration for future projects.
All materials and plants to press are provided, though participants are welcome to bring additional flowers or plants from home.
