Field of Radiance
Studio 31 on the Chester County Studio Tour — The Field of Radiance is a two-day art exhibition and live Rumi concert at the historic Green Barn in East Fallowfield Township, Chester County’s Brandywine Valley. May 16–17.
Six contemporary artists transform a 19th-century barn into a gallery of painting, photography, mixed media, and illuminated text — rooted in the natural world and the contemplative life.
On Sunday, May 17 at 2pm, the barn hosts a free Rumi poetry reading and live music concert. Suzzette Ortiz — whose collaborators include Bobby McFerrin — performs on harp and piano alongside Amira Dvorah on bansuri flute and guitar. Amira has performed behind Ravi Shankar. Michael Green, co-creator of the bestselling The Illuminated Rumi alongside Coleman Barks, reads from Rumi. Free. Light refreshments served.
