Join us for a special hands-on “Make and Take” workshop led by artist Agathe Bouton, held in conjunction with her solo exhibition Interwoven
Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Boro—a centuries-old technique of patching and mending cloth—this engaging session invites participants to create their own decorative textile panel using repurposed denim. With guidance from Bouton, whose latest body of work explores themes of repair and reuse, you’ll learn how to layer, arrange, and adhere fabric to a canvas, transforming everyday materials into meaningful art.
No experience necessary—this workshop is open to individuals and families (ages 10 and up). All materials will be provided. Just bring your creativity!
Space is limited, so reserve your spot early. Come create, connect, and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art!
