Fall Planting Demonstration
10:00 – 11:00 AM
Steve Wright, Director of Horticulture/Curator of Plant Collections, Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens
Fall is a great time for planting, when the heat of summer has passed but there is still time for newly-planted roots to establish before heaving frosts begin. You can think of late-season planting as a head start on the next year. An indoor “how-to” presentation will be followed by an outdoor demonstration of proper planting techniques. You will learn everything you need to know to ensure the survival of your fall plantings.
Free of charge
