Exploring Andorra Forest and Meadow with Margaret Kinnevy and Lisa Kleiman

Ready to explore Andorra’s forest, meadow, and hillside trails? Apart from being beautiful with a diverse set of landscapes, it is a convenient location to access via car or bus.
From our meeting spot near the Cedars House, we will walk up the hill to the Wissahickon Environmental Center, and on through both forest and meadow. Along the way we will encounter remnants of the old nursery, a 400 year old tree, a food forest, and a frog pond.
We will loop around to our starting point for those who prefer a 2 mile hike. From there we will continue on to explore more of the hillside and hilltop forest trails to complete a brisk 4 mile excursion. Open to those 12 years old and up.
Distance: 2 miles to 4 miles
Level: Moderate (some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces)
