The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) and representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Region 3 staff are launching GHHI’s EPA Region 3 Thriving Communities Grantmaking (TCGM) program on Wednesday, July 24 from 11 am-1 pm in Wilmington, DE at the Latin American Community Center.
This informational gathering is intended for community-based EJ leaders working in nonprofits, local government entities, tribal governments, Native American organizations, and public and private universities and colleges to obtain information and guidance about these important funding opportunities.
In August, GHHI’s TCGM program will begin accepting applications to fund more than 170 eligible EJ projects in historically disinvested communities throughout EPA’s Region 3 (includes Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and 7 federally recognized tribes).
