En plein air, Come make art on the grounds of Laurel Hill Mansion
Women for Greater Philadelphia invite you to spend a day painting, drawing or sketching en plein air on the grounds of Laurel Hill Mansion. Nestled along the scenic Schuylkill River in East Fairmount Park, Laurel Hill has a prominent location on a high bluff overlooking the river. Riverview, garden, historic house, Strawberry Mansion Bridge there is much here to intrigue the eye so no matter what your medium is pack your supplies and join us for a day of painting and sketching, making, under the shade trees of Laurel Hill Mansion. Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic too. Bring drining water. There are many shady locations to work in and the house is air conditioned.

Please note that this event takes place at historic Laurel Hill Mansion not Laurel Hill Cemetery. We are a yellow house in the Georgian style set on a cul de sac, 3487 Edgley Drive, off of Reservoir Drive in East Fairmount Park. This is a free event with ample free parking however the number of invitees is limited so register soon. Bring your own supplies we have none to provide. Restrooms are available.
