PHILADELPHIA250 is unveiling proposed designs for the Declaration Station, a centerpiece of our civic engagement programs for the 250th.
As part of our Declaration Station Ideas-to-Prototype Competition, three diverse, multidisciplinary teams will showcase their concepts. A unique design challenge, the Station is envisioned as a mobile and highly interactive resource that will reach people all over Philadelphia, hosting creative activities designed to spark connection to and engagement with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
The three teams presenting their designs are:
ISA and Tiny WPA with artists Chenlin Cai, Calo Rosa and Serena Saunders
Moto Designshop + Iron Studio, with Crafted Action, RustFab, and Ann T. Dinh
PORT + Creative Lab III + Little Giant Creative
At the event, you will hear from the designers as they outline their vision for the Declaration Station, and view exhibits of their designs and models. You’ll have the chance to ask questions as well as give your feedback on each design.
We hope you can join us for this unique opportunity to be a part of designing the 250th for Philadelphia!
