Delaware County will celebrate its first-ever Delco Gives Day, hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County, on May 8-9, 2024.
Delco Gives Day promises to be a county-wide celebration of generosity, unity, and shared purpose. The 24-hour giving period will kickoff on 7:00 p.m. on May 8 and wrap up at 7:00 p.m. on May 9. It’s a unique opportunity to support the local nonprofits that tirelessly serve our community and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
There are 260 nonprofits signed up, you can find profiles of each nonprofit at delcogives.org. Every donation qualifies for bonus funding provided by the Foundation, and Delco Gives sponsors, maximizing the impact of each contribution. A series of in-person celebratory events hosted by the Foundation and nonprofits will be held including a kick-off event at Dining Under the Stars in Media on May 8 and ending with a celebration in Rose Tree Park on May 9.
