Delaware Connections Mural in Bridesburg Community Paint Day
June 12 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us to create a new mural on Richmond Street
Join artist Meg Lemieur and Mural Arts Philadelphia for a community paint day for Bridesburg’s newest mural. The new mural, which depicts community connections to the Delaware River will be located at 4725 Richmond Street.
Like many murals in Philadelphia, this mural is being produced on mural cloth, a special cloth that absorbed the paint and is applied to the wall with a special acrylic gel, resulting in a mural that looks just like it was painted on. One of the best things about creating a mural this way means that we can have the community actually paint the mural cloth panels just like a paint by number. Join us for this fun time and no previous paintinf experience is necessary.
This event will take place at the Bridesburg Recreation Center.
Free registration is recommended so we can plan for attendees.
