January 17 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Why buy new when you can learn to repair & reuse your best-loved knitwear!

Join us for a hands-on visible mending workshop with textile artist Siena Faughnan. You will learn the simple and satisfying art of darning to repair holes and reinforce worn areas in your favorite socks, scarves, and sweaters. In this cozy, beginner-friendly class, we’ll cover the basic stitching and weaving techniques using simple tools like needles, thread, and yarn, empowering you to extend the life of your clothes while adding a personal touch. By the end of the workshop you’ll have the skills to repair and add flair to your knits, giving them new life and helping you embrace sustainable fashion. Bring a hole-y sock or moth nibbled sweater—no experience necessary!
