This will be our first crop swap. Think of it as an old fashioned trading post, but informal. We will have tables and coolers for the items, and folks can take whatever they’d like. If you’ve been to one of our other swaps (for clothing, household items, and so on) it will be the same style of event. Abundance not scarcity. If you’re part of a community garden, consider letting other gardeners know they can bring their excess harvests here, if they won’t be able to use them!
This event is at THE PEOPLE’S LOT, NOT Market Square. EventBrite doesn’t recognize The People’s Lot as a location. It’s across from Market Square on East Church Lane, just a few doors down from Uncle Bobbie’s. Look for the open lot outside with color chair and lot of murals.
This event will also be a seed exchange. Bring seeds you have saved from your homegrown foods or seed packets you’ve purchased and can’t use on your own. Soon we’ll share details about a seed-saving workshop happening during it as well.
