Creative Collage: City Fragments

Creative Collage: City Fragments
Saturday, September 27th, 2025 • 2 Hours • 3-5pm
At 20*20 House Gallery
Ever walked through your neighborhood and wondered about all the visual stories surrounding you?
Join us for this hands-on workshop where you’ll transform urban experiences into mixed-media art.
Using photographs from city life—neighborhood shots, street scenes, architectural details—discover how fragmentation and layering can tell deeper stories about urban living. You’ll learn essential collage techniques while creating both a personal piece and contributing to a collaborative artwork with fellow participants.
What You’ll Do:
Create an individual collage and a collaborative group piece using provided materials
Take home new ways of seeing the visual richness of urban spaces
Who Can Attend:
All skill levels welcome!
Children 4+ may attend with a parent or guardian.
What We Provide:
All print media, art supplies, specialty papers, cutting tools, and adhesives will be provided
Attendees are also welcome to bring their own ephemera, photographs, magazines, and paper media to personalize their works
Public gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays, noon – 4 pm.
