Come hang out in the shade with your fellow crafters! Bring whatever you’re working on these days, whether it’s knitting, sewing, crochet, jewelry, drawing, sketching, or some fun new craft we’ve never heard of.
Message me if you’re interested in learning any particular craft! I can bring some supplies. I’ll also have some yarn and hooks for anyone who wants to learn to crochet.
In case of rain, we’ll meet indoors either on the first floor open space or on the second floor in studio 14.
About your Host: Rosie is on a mission to try every craft in the world and has dabbled in more than 25 different crafts so far. She can often be found in a local park, surrounded by many yards of bright fabric from her current sewing project. Originally from Maine, she’s now a graphic designer in Queen Village.
About the Location: This event is held at Cherry Street Pier in the Garden space right on the water. In the event of rain or extreme weather we will either meet on the first floor inside of the pier, or on the second floor in The Craft Coven’s space. The Coven is located in studio 14 on the second floor. Unfortunately there are no elevators to the second floor. You will need to go up a very large flight of steps to get to the second floor. The studio space is heated/cooled inside the pier and there are bathrooms located on site (on the first floor). There are often installations and events around the pier, and the larger space is open from 12-8pm everyday. Please reach out with any questions about accessibility [email protected]
