Cobbs Creek Art Club: Mandalas with Kris Casañas
Mandala, which means ‘circle’, in Sanskrit, is a geometric configuration of symbols. Mandalas can be used for focusing attention and as an aid to meditation. Join us on Wednesday Nov 6th from 5:30-7:30pm at Christy Rec Center (55th and Christian st) for a Mandala workshop led by Kris Casañas. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a mandala that is meaningful to you using geometric shapes and symbols.
Cobbs Creek Art Club at Christy Rec Center is a free bi weekly art workshop for all ages from youth to adults. It’s a space to try something new and express your creativity with a focus on community building. No experience necessary, only a willingness to explore and create with neighbors.
