Climate Cafe for Chester County
September 12 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
An informal, open and respectful space to share emotional responses and reactions related to the climate crisis.
- Utilizing the Climate Cafe model developed by the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America (https://www.climatepsychology.us/climate-cafes/).
- Led by trained and experienced group facillitator, Jonathan Veit (https://jonveit.com). Climate Cafes are NOT meant to be considered therapy.
- A space for exploration of thoughts, feelings and experiences rather than what we are DOING about the climate crisis.
- Not designed to lead participants to any conclusion or toward action (actions can be discussed, but reflection is paramount).
- Starts informally at 4:30pm to give time to purchase food and drinks,. Facillitation begins at 5:00pm and goes to 6:30pm. Please RSVP by registering and arrive by 5:00pm to avoid disruption.
