Join Weavers Way Co-op and the Clean Energy Co-op as we celebrate how grassroots investment is growing renewable energy at the Clean Energy Co-op’s latest solar project at the Weavers Way Mercantile. The solar array at Weavers Way Mercantile is the eighth installation of the Clean Energy Co-op, and the second with Weavers Way Co-op. The Clean Energy Co-op uses an award-winning method of developing solar projects using pooled investments by its members. This pooled investment structure allows individuals to directly increase the amount of renewable energy installed in Pennsylvania.
Kids can run a solar powered shoebox size car and enjoy the bubbles produced from a portable solar panel. Short comments from groups and people integral to getting this project done will include Weaver’s Way, Clean Energy Co-op, Ken Weinstein, and Solar States.
