CELEBRATING OUR TREES MAKE-IN With Mindy Flexer!

Join local artist Mindy Flexer to get ready for Earth Day with a
CELEBRATING OUR TREES MAKE-IN! at Mindy’s studio, 5225 Greene Street. You can see directions here: https://www.mindyflexerart.com/contact, and see more about Mindy at www.mindyflexerart.com. Let’s treasure the beautiful trees in our precious local forest by recreating them! You and yours are invited to make leaves and flowers for the trees that will be in Walk in the Wissahickon, an immersive, floor-to-ceiling installation of Wissahickon Valley Park that will be in Woodmere Art Museum’s Millard Children’s Gallery this September. Making other plants and critters that live in the Wissahickon will also be an option. This will be a fun opportunity to think global/act local by learning about and appreciating our special neighborhood forest.
This in person crafting event will be hosted at Mindy’s Art studio on April 13th from 2-4pm.
Mindy Flexer is a local artist and a long time Weavers Way Co-op member. She hosts wonderul workshops for the community, delightful crafting moments for friends of all ages.
