Campfire, Smores and lots more at Weavers Way Farm at Awbury Arboretum
Join the Weavers Way Farm Team at our Mort Brooks Memorial Farm site for some fire-side sharing about how we are using our new “caterpillar tunnel” hoop houses to extend our growing season and grow food through the winter. Camp fire, smores and hot-chocolate will be provided. This event is FREE. Please consider bringing your own chair and plenty of warm layers. ALL ARE WELCOME!
WHERE? Mort Brooks Memorial Farm at The Farm At Awbury, 6336 Ardleigh st. 19138If driving, please park on Ardleigh st. and walk past the main wooden gate past the Philly Goat Project headquarters, we’ll be right down the hill from them! There will also be a greeter at the gate to guide you down to our area. It’s a 5-10 min walk down to our space. There’s a couple porta potties on site that are a 5 min walk from where we are hosting.
