In the current art world and market, the medium is the message and for that purpose, a strong brand foundation is key in the creative field In this workshop, Corinne Dodenhoff will guide participants through the basics of crafting a solid brand identity to support their practice. Workshop participants will develop the tools necessary to use their unique voices as marketing tools in order to procure job opportunities, get clients’ attention, and further their creative careers. Topics discussed include the basic 101 of Brand Identity (what is it, how it’s used, etc.) as well as a common glossary of branding terminology, research, development tips, and processes to be used while developing their brand. The objective is for students to walk away with improved knowledge of not just branding as a field, but with a strong sense of confidence that theycan use these tools to create flexible brand kits for themselves.
