Blk Ivy Thrift Open Mic Night

Calling all poets and poetry lovers! We look forward to celebrating #BlackJoyMonth (and our one year anniversary!) with our beloved community all February long, and kicking off the festivities will be our first ever open mic, hosted by @mayaisangelique on Saturday, February 10th at 6:30pm!
Complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served, so come join us for a drink and a vibe, on the house!
We kindly ask our performers to prepare to recite pieces surrounding joy, optimism, liberation and progress for our people.
Due to the intimate setting of this event, seats ar limited so get your ticket today! We look forward to seeing you soon!
For Performers:
We will begin the welcoming of our lineup promptly at 6:45pm, so we are requesting all poets to arrive on time, as we will be going in the order of our list of registered performers.
Of course, all are most welcome to browse the store and mingle beforehand!
To ensure a cohesive show run, we ask that each person limit their piece(s) to 5 minutes or less.
