Black Media Matters: A mayoral candidate forum

Philadelphia’s leading Black media outlets are partnering with Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church to host a mayoral candidate forum focused on Black issues.
This forum will be moderated by Andrea Lawful Sanders, host of The Source, and feature Solomon Jones from WURD Radio and representatives of the Philadelphia Tribune, the Philadelphia Sunday Sun, and Fun Times Magazine questioning the candidates. The panel will focus on issues that have a significant impact on Philadelphia’s Black communities – economic opportunity, education, public safety and more.
This event will be broadcasted live on WURD Radio – 900AM, 96.1FM, and streaming on wurdradio.com, WURD TV, and the WURD Radio app.
This program is a part of Every Voice, Every Vote, a collaborative project managed by The Lenfest Institute for Journalism. Lead support is provided by the William Penn Foundation with additional funding from The Lenfest Institute, Peter and Judy Leone, the John S. and James L.
