Take a break from white washed history and tourist traps to immerse yourself in local Black culture with our Black Be Beautiful tour led by Chrissy, Philly native & storyteller with dozens of five-star Google reviews!
This two-hour walking tour is a fun, educational experience packed with a dozen large murals and transformative conversations around Black resistance and the healing power of art and community building. Stories include the recent history of the impactful work of former NAACP president and civil rights activist Cecil B. Moore as well as amplifies The Village, a 35+ year old nonprofit art campus dedicated to uplifting local art, healing, pride, expression, and creativity.
Taking place minutes from Reading Terminal, Dilworth Park, LOVE Park, Liberty Bell, Rittenhouse Square, Northern Liberties, and the Convention Center. We are easily accessible by bus (4, 16, 23, 47), train (Broad St Line), uber/lyft or driving (free parking).
