Birding with Kids: Inspiring the Next Generation of Bird Enthusiasts

Join us for this in-store Special Presentation with Jessica Shahan, Naturalist/Volunteer Coordinator from Newlin Grist Mill. Birding is a great way to introduce kids of all ages to nature! As a hobby, birding provides opportunities for growth and community-building, as well as outlets where kids can make positive impacts on the world around them. In this talk, we will explore the benefits of birding for kids, the basic tools and techniques needed for a good day out in the field, and ways to make every birding adventure a success.
