Birding for Beginners: Wilson Farm Park Evening Field Trip

June 21, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

***Note: This Park has two entrances. Be sure to use the Lee Road Entrance. Where Lee Road dead ends at the main park entrance, turn LEFT and follow the road all the way to where it ends at the all-abilities playground and parking lot. We will meet there.***

This field trip continues our series planned this spring specifically for beginning birders. Late afternoon/early evening is a great time to see and hear birds in all their spring activities. Whether you are brand-new or sorta-new to birding or you just love nature – we will go slowly to enjoy and explore together. The paved, mostly-flat path offers an easy, interesting loop of about a mile past pond, wood edge, and fields, and usually takes about two hours. You’ll probably recognize more birds than you realize – and we’ll help!

All abilities and ages are welcome, including children if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them. There are accessible restroom facilities on site.

Guides: Lynn Sowden, Jim Ermer
