Bike and Hike Gathering in Philadelphia

Join us on Sunday, May 19 at 2pm on the Schuylkill River Trail near the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education! We will have a regional gathering for communities and individuals in the Philadelphia area who are participating in the Bike and Hike Fundraiser to get together, be in nature, and go for a walk together! There will be poetry reading and some light meditation on the Earth, the land, and our relationship to the natural world. We aim to be in community with others doing this work, and thinking about the intersection between faith and climate, while fundraising for PA IPL. Help us increase feelings of community within the PA IPL network, and increase participation and enjoyment of our annual Bike and Hike!
The annual PA IPL Climate Advocacy Bike & Hike is a tour of PA’s great outdoors & various routes that highlight the beauty of our state. The ride seeks to nurture hope for a cleaner future across our state & is an opportunity for cyclists and hikers to connect with likeminded people and the broader PA IPL community statewide by sharing their journeys – the diversity of landscape and life – across Pennsylvania, reminding us of what we work so hard to protect!
