Big Rocks, Big Trees Hike Pt. 1 with Lisa Myers and Debbie Hoellein

There is parking at the Pachella Field parking lot.
Please note that there will not be bathrooms available along our route.
We are starting the new year off with the first of three winter hikes where we will observe some of the larger trees in the Wissahickon canopy as well as interesting rock exposures. We’ll even pass by a couple features of historical interest. Our route includes the Yellow trail, Forbidden Drive and Connector Trails.
We will leave our pets at home for this hike!
Distance: 2 miles
Level: Moderate (some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces)
Audience: 18 years old and up
Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.
Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks.
