beg. barter. steal. – Vox Populi Member Show Opening Reception
January 18 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A group art exhibition featuring members from the Vox Populi collective
January 18 – February 22, 2025
beg. barter. steal. brings together the diverse practices of Vox Populi artist members as they play with the literal and symbolic meanings of ‘begging, bartering, and stealing’ in capitalism, exploring a wide range of lenses from meditations on exchange of time, labor, and environment, to mythological theft in fairy tales, trickster archetypes, and the magickal origins of money.
