Before 2030: A Livable Future for People, Planet, and All Life
September 21, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
It’s still possible to hold climate change to relatively safe levels but doing so will require revolutionary changes and global cooperation.
Consumer trends and corporate practices over the past 50 years have set our planet on course for catastrophe. We stand at a key moment in the history of our planet, and our species. We have the option to make drastic changes in our lifestyle and society, or we can watch the planet pass the threshold of no return. It’s our responsibility to learn what we can do and to implement change. Join Tony Buck to explore paths to a sustainable future for the planet, humanity, and all living creatures.
Tony Buck is a permaculture and gardening expert and sustainability advocate. He has been serving Penn State Extension’s Master Gardener program for ten years. Some call him the “Ecological Gardener” because he’s always asking, “What would nature do?”
This presentation and discussion will take place via Zoom.
