In this workshop learn to weave your own basket with natural materials. No prior knowledge of basket weaving necessary. Those new to basket weaving are encouraged to attend. A suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the start of the event. Venmo or cash is preferred.
About Steven R. Carty
Steven R. Carty is a second generation basket weaver from South Jersey who has taught basket weaving for many years. He has taught multiple forms of basket weaving; however the utilization of wild gathered materials in his weaving is truly a passion of his. He strives to teach others how to create usable art straight from nature, and in a way that is sustainable.
