Autumn Ramble in Wissahickon Valley Park

Meeting at Wigard Avenue Trailhead (726 Wigard Avenue)
Join Trail Ambassadors Stan Kozakowski and Michael Bridges for a 3-hour guided hike through Philadelphia’s breathtaking Wissahickon Valley Park. As crisp leaves crunch underfoot and amber light filters through bare-branched trees, this seasonal stroll winds along scenic trails, beside whispering creeks and moss-covered stone bridges.
Connect with both nature and kindred spirits—whether old friends or new companions—as you share stories and silences alike beneath a canopy of fading fall color. With pauses to admire hidden vistas, ancient trees, and perhaps even a deer in the distance, this ramble is as much about the journey as the destination.
Bring sturdy shoes, warm layers, and an open heart. This is autumn at its most soul-nourishing.
