Autumn Avian Delights

Each autumn, raptors and songbirds flock across our forests and fields, following age-old instincts to fly south for the winter. Natural Lands’ diverse habitats sustain a variety of avian species.

Bring your binoculars and join Join Mike Niven, volunteer team leader for Natural Lands’ crew of volunteer bird surveyors, for a morning walk around ChesLen Preserve’s wetlands.. We’ll look for migratory and resident birds, and other wetland species.
