Art & Histories Along the Delaware: A Riverfront Walking Tour

Discover the Delaware River waterfront as a site for innovative public art and an archive of Black histories.

Stops on this tour include the Association for Public Art’s 250th anniversary-themed Let Freedom Ring installation by Paul Ramírez Jonas at Cherry Street Pier, as well as Indira Allegra’s Sail Through This To That at Spruce Street Harbor (part of ArtPhilly), among other temporary and permanent artworks along the waterfront. The tour will be led by the Association for Public Art and feature Sarah Eberle, Vice President of Arts and Programming for the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, and Michiko Quinones, cofounder of 1838 Black Metropolis.

Headsets are provided for all participants. Once you register, you will receive instructions on where to meet for this tour.
