Apprentice Casting Call: Personal Assistant to Runway Recycled
Are you ready to step into a unique, once-in-a-lifetime role that blends apprenticeship, personal assistance, and leadership development?
Runway Recycled — the nonprofit sustainable fashion boutique behind Sustainable Gowns, RR Brand, and Black Fashion Week Experience — is seeking a trustworthy, resourceful, and reliable apprentice to work alongside our Founder & Visionary.
This is not a typical job posting. Right now, it’s about sweat equity, exposure, and growth — working directly with a creative leader building multiple brands in fashion, sustainability, and community impact. As grant funding and partnerships expand, this apprentice role will transition into a formal paid employee position.

Responsibilities You’ll Take On:
- Handle calls, follow-ups, and daily priorities
- Keep schedules, projects, and deadlines organized
- Research grants, partnerships, vendors, and opportunities
- Assist with inventory, events, and community programs
- Help with emails, proposals, and communications
- Support growth of multiple brands (Runway Recycled, Sustainable Gowns, RR Brand)
- Act as a trusted, dependable right hand to the Founder
Who We’re Looking For
- Local to Willow Grove, PA (within 30 min) for in-person collaboration
- Tech savvy (comfortable with digital tools, social, and light finance tracking)
- Organized, proactive, and dependable — no excuses, no delays
- Hungry for exposure, mentorship, and growth in fashion + business
- Someone who sees this as more than a “job” — but a partnership
