Young adults are welcome to join us for a beautiful Saturday event that will promote physical health and introduce skills to utilize the Pennypack trails. You will be guided through the paved trails on a bicycle and on the bridle and footpaths on a hike. We look forward to sharing our tips and tricks about staying healthy and utilizing Pennypack Park with you!

This Bike and Hike program is an entirely-outdoor experience. Please dress according to the weather and expect rocky and uneven paths and trails.
The Pennypack Environmental Center cannot be held responsible for any bodily injuries or lost or stolen personal properties.
Parking is available at the center with additional street parking.
Restrooms, picnic area, and the indoor center are all handicap accessible.
BYOB: Bring Your Own Bike! (Bicycles and helmets will not be provided by the Pennypack Environmental Center.)
Storage for bicycles during breaks and in between legs of the program will be provided inside the center, however we recommend bringing a chain and lock for your bicycle.

This program is one of many activities organized by our Temple University student intern, Rosalee! Her work is focused on engaging young adults of the Northeast Philadelphia community in physical activity and education programs, family oriented programs, and women’s empowerment activities.
